The Bionic Woman

It seems as though we've run into our first bionic-woman. Claudia Mitchell lost her arm in 2004 in a motorcycle accident. This change in her life caused her to become very depressed over time and finally she decided to sign for an experimental test that would replace her prosthetic arm with a bionic arm that would change her life.
I personally think this was a great idea but risky. This "bionic-arm" has given this woman a second chance at a normal life. Doing these kinds of things for people with amputated limbs allows them to try to lead the life they had before. And as we discussed doing this for veterans that have and will be coming in from war with these problems can simply get this kind of surgery.

Amputation- to cut  off a limb, typically by surgery.Radical-far-reaching or thorough.Experimental-based on untested ideas or techniques that are not yet finalized.
